Beth

I like the idea that she notices how power corrupts when she sees that the effects of her actions aren't just felt, as intended, by her targets. That's a good lesson for all of us.

Thanks Beth. The storyline with Rambhi's son is so interesting - he is totally spoiled rotten and yet totally devoted to her, so that when explains why she doesn't want him to follow in her footsteps, he accepts what she is saying, even though it means he doesn't get what he wants.

But it does take her many years to make the connection that you note - after having someone killed right in front of her son's eyes when he is just a little boy, it still takes her years to realize what sort of thing does to him.

This film really does get better each time I watch it. I already want to go watch it again.

Pls watch - Anupama, Satyakam, Safar and Amar Prem. - these are some of the best movies of Sharmila Tagore. Dharmendra is very handsome in the first two movies. The thrid one has two heroes - Rajesh Khanna and Feroze Khan.

Rajesh Khanna's earlier movies were good which include Aradhna, Kati Patang, Anand, Amar Prem. watch these, I am sure you will enjoy these movies. You were perhaps put off by Rajesh Khanna due to his later movies with a paunch and heavy build
